This page provides a simple summary of how browsing on the site is handled and which information may be processed by technical services.

Race Archive is an unofficial informational archive. The site does not require registration and does not directly collect personal data through user accounts.

2. Technical data

During browsing, standard technical information required for hosting functionality may be processed, such as browser data, device data and server requests.

3. Necessary cookie

Race Archive uses the first-party cookie “race_archive_consent” only to remember the visitor's cookie preference. It does not contain an account identifier, is available across the site and expires after six months.

4. Optional cookies

Analytics, advertising and profiling cookies are not currently active. The preferences panel shows these categories as unavailable. If an optional service is introduced, this information and the consent version will be updated before the service is enabled.

5. Managing cookie choices

The “Cookie settings” control remains available on every page after a choice is saved. It can be used to review the current categories or reset the saved preference at any time.

6. Data sources

Standings, archives and sports information are obtained from public sources or external APIs. Race Archive is not an official Formula 1 website.

7. Updates

This policy may be updated over time to reflect technical changes, site improvements or new transparency needs.
